Since the March 3rd "leak" of the first David Caron video, the web has been abuzz with speculation over the source of unusual light patterns recorded.

Deconstruction began when a user on the Open Minds Forum (OMF) posted a YouTube link of the video. Word quickly spread throughout many internet forums to include AboveTopSecret.com (ATS). Suggestions of the cause of the lights ranged from the mundane to the outright bizarre.

Steadily, the two leading internet forums began to deconstruct the Caron video. It was requested on both forums for anyone with a JVC camcorder of a similar make/model to Caron's to take a night video of Sirius in "Night Alive" mode. User Sparky at OMF obliged. In all, he shot two videos, the second of which created an uproar at the major similarities between it and the original Caron video.

The debate still marches on, though slowly as many have considered the issue as solved. Most agree that Mr. Caron did not create the video out of malice. On the contrary, it is felt that most likely an extremely bright stationary object in the sky caught his eye and he taped it in a method that inadvertently resulted in anomalous streaks of light. Still, there are those who contend that the object taped may very well been moving, considering the statement by Caron that the camera was supported toward the end of the video.

All in all, it is an interesting story with unusual visual evidence. Is the Sparky video enough to close the issue or is there still, something else out there?
